How do your main speakers sound?

They turned out really good i think, There really strong/accurate in the imaging department.

How were they built?

MDF cabinet, well braced etc.. red oak Veneer.

What drivers did you use?

The adire audio DIY kits. AV8 mids, and tweeter.

Did you buy plans?

They came as kits, with the xover pieces, and basic plans.

How long did this project take?

I also built a center channel and surrounds. The speakers probably took 2 months (weekends only) i guess.

Ok, last question....
How much did the speakers cost if you don't mind my asking?

 

Parts for the 2 towers (Speakers,crossovers,hardware) was ~500.00 can.

wood,veneer,finishing not included.

 

Hey Chev, I've seen that sub cabinet before...is the kit called, the Titan or something like that?
It looks real familiar.

Actually I dont remember saying how it was built. My 2 floorstand speakers are mdf yes.
