Seriously, I have taken apart and put back together every car in that segment, and as far as I'm concerned, the SX 2.0 is the best put together of the compact inexpensive sedans.

The SRT 4 owns LOL.
I just got one this week, IMO it looks great, is fast as hell, and fun to drive.
The interior is really nice, gauges are all sweet. I love everything about the car !
Anyways, it's entirely upto you but I'm loving my SRT.

I'm kinda torn between the lancer and the srt-4. It's just not worth it for me to buy the srt-4, and then drop 100+ pounds of stereo gear into it. I'll drive them both this weekend, and then make my decision.

My vote goes to the SRT-4 too. Haven't driven any of them myself, but I know a couple people that loved the way the SRT-4 drove
i had an experience with a Lancer somethingmabobber... looked slightly supped up butnot an EVO. the experience started at the lights with him taking off without any warning and ended up with him behind me about 15 car lenghts in a few seconds. nonetheless, it seemed like a preppy little car!
