There are OTHER cars out besides Cavaliers and Cobalts Teri.

Mazda 3s are nice little cars. I got to drive one for a bit back in March and I was impressed. Sleek looking. *peppy* Pretty economical.

Let us know what you decide on.

Well, I've got an appointment to drive a srt-4 tomorrow morning 9am right after my 16 hour night shift. I think I may be going with that, I was just poking around the mopar website, and the stage 3 turbo looks pretty sweet.

Except that generation of neons costed about 8k brand new, and were plagued with many engine and other problems.

Coblat SS's are very nice and quick, but try finding one for less than sticker right now. They were sent here in very limited numbers and aren't easy to find. Saturn Ion Redlines were released last year and aren't a very quick seller so you can find one for a good price. A dealer next to my office had a new 2004 up until a few months ago and it was marked down to $24k from the sticker price of $29,900. I'm not sure what a Cobalt SS goes for, but considering the way GM overinflates pricing of everything, I could see it being in the $29k range. Which is just ridiculous IMO.

Well i did it, I bought the srt-4. Last one and it's red. I pick it up tomorrow. The funny thing is insurance on it is cheaper than insurance on a 2002 oldsmobile alero. Sticker was 29, i paid about 26.
