lol take a chev off pavement. lol k lets see i live in a smalll town, we're surounded by gravel roads. mud is very common in this area. i have yet to see my ruck and or any one esless get stuck. IMO chevs are ment to be dirty, they are ment to be work trucks they are ment to get **** kicked and then stilll keep going.

also another dodge has fallen

drove to lloyd yesterday and one met its end via rollover.

Do the Diesel pick-up... [img]smile.gif[/img] I absolutely love mine, wouldn't trade it for anything on the road right now. They are functional, and can really haul *** with a few mods. The new Duramax is up to 360HP and 650Ftlbs of tourque, so I wouldn't be suprised if Dodge uncorks the Cummins to re-gain the lead in the power race. The best part (IMO) is that they still get upwards of 30MPG which is something else to consider these days. If your a family man like I am, you can also look into a camper/holiday trailer if your into that sort of stuff... [img]smile.gif[/img]

diesel is nice, more power and ****, but the price of fuel is more then gas now.

oh and for the cavy project. welll i'm not sure now. i'm probably gonan do some comps this season and well i need my car to compete with. the truck would not work well. its gotthat propane tank back thier making it impossible to do a blow through.

chunk don't compare your truck to the newer chevy's ...yours is a real truck, I was a die hard chevy man till 88, that's when their trucks whent to crap..........

as for the charger , go for it, I'm sure you'll like it

yeha your right the NEWER chevys well thier new, thier nice, more features, but our found dead on the road more then you find road kill... lol finally i burned chevy...

My '86 6.2L diesel chev was an alright truck I guess, but my '91 sucked serious ballz(more repairs than I care to remember).

I have a hard time beleiving you're getting 30mpg kilowatt

I get about 24highway/18 city with mine

my grandpa's 93 12 valve used to get 30 on the highway but 1st gen's got great mileage, no power but great mileage
