I got 4 tix in Edmonton sec. 230, row 24. They went so fast. Ticketmaster server was giving lots of too busy messages. Edmonton and Calgary both sold out about a half hour. Vancouver still has tix in the lower bowl. Looks like BC'ers cannot rock. I'm just happy to be inside the building.

Lando? Did you get Edmonton or Calgary tix?

I'm just happy to be in the building, this ones gonna be awesome. I just about had a heart attack with all the errors I was getting. Probably the last time they come to Edmonton before one of the original 3 OD's or something. Some of us were lucky enough to see Pantera in 2001, their last tour before they split. So you never know a band could be finished. Anyone who wants a CD set of the Edmonton show can hit me up after the show.

99% of music is influenced by someone before them, thats a fact of life, same as an artist will always be influenced by someone before them, very little is 100% brand new, my biggest pet peave with music is the cookie cutter effect of today, u look at life now and everything is mass produced and marketed, not just music, everything, look at new houses being built now, u have entire streets of prefab houses looking the same, cus no one wants to be original, no one wants to step outside the box i cant stand when i hear default and nickleback on the radio now. (cept the new nickleback is a good tune) cus one is a carbon copy of the other, theres no difference at all, and thats why whatshisnut from nickleback signed default to his label, cus hes the same, i have a friend whos an intern/student in a recording studio who sees it all teh time, everyone now is trying to be nickleback and make a buck on someone elses coattails, rather then being an originator, like the nirvanas, janes addictions, pearl jams etc etc. think about it, in 10 years u think anyone will know the long hair freak from nickleback? no but u can be sure the name kurt cobain will ring some bells, or vedder, or dave navaro i honestly cant name a member of any of these loser cover bands. least when offspring sold out u still know the names dexter and noodles....
