There is a lot of crap on the market these days, wear waders as you look through them all. My first choice would be a Compustar Pro version, second choice an Autopage.

my compustar 2way fm alarm/starter has treated me very well. Great distance, and just works seemingly well in general. I still have my jeep anyways.

Thanks for all the tips. Is one brand known for making more rugged remotes? Life in my pockets tends to be rough.

For the ignition kill, you could always wire up a kill switch to your fuel pump, and hide it somewhere. it would cost you $10 and you could always use it with any other alarm system as added protection.
