Need help on picking digital camera

Check out steves digicams websites for reviews there are alot of models up there for review... that's where I opted to pick up my Kodak DX7590..
Soo it seems I am blind and Casper already suggested this lol... soo lets just say 2X in that suggestion lol

wow thank you everyone for the replys. SOme good info there and quick too. Looks like im going to be getting the S2 IS as I will only be printing 4x6 shots maybe a few bigger but as some of you have said the jump from 5 to 7 mp is not a big difference on smaller prints. Thank you.

I think that's a great choice. I have the S1 IS & the big optical zoom is the best feature. I've used it at a number of events where other people have brought their cameras & they always comment on how my pictures are the best.

i have owned a few sony's that i liked, i also used the panasonics fz20, it is huge $$$ and i was expecting great things, the zoom reeeked, the macro abilities are cool but if you take a really up close pic the lens gives you a wicked shadow that is undesirable. i have now got the canon s21s and it is the best camera i have ever used and would recommend it highly
i still use my sony alot in potentially damaging situations, wheeling, camping etc
