No programs I have seem to support avi. I'd just like a small free program with no spyware that will play avi. What does everyone suggest? And if you could send it to me that'd be great! LOL!

the player I recently found is The Core Media Player. So far it has played everything I have.

It must be certain codec if that avi doesn't play in Media Player.... prob a Xvid/divx like the above suggestions, plugin I use is call AC3 Filter play all my xvids perfect specially since there encoded in dd 2.1

 

You really don't need any special player other than Windows Media Player if you just install a codec pack.

I use a pack called ACE Multi codec pack, easily found on torrents.

Also if you need codec get the K Lite Mega Codec pack and you won't have to worry about codec!
