Dayton makes a 36inch wire wheel.

Those 28's are real useful on a Hummer, I bet he gets great traction in the mud with those 35-40 series rubber too.

junoirsfse is right, wheel makers are getting carried away, these new wheel/tire combos are starting to look alot like the old wooden wagon wheel, with the metal band around the outside for the tire. reminds me of western movies haha. besides being almost useless for daily driving, i read that anything over 20" is not god for your vehicle. aparrently a 22" wheel and tire can weigh nearly as much as a 15" wheel with a 35" tire, which is hard on ball joints, brakes, and all your front end parts.

i think jesse james makes some really big wheels. i really dont think its a good idea goin to big though, as it seriously decreases your breaking ability. Have you ever looking at say a 12" rotor when it has a 20 or so inch wheel on it... the rotor looks tiny.

but on a side note - what do you think about them 36 on my VW... might have to be creative with the sazall to get `em on but it`ll be schweet

If someone will buy it they will make it. The folks that buy this stuff are interested in image not performance or safety (which are the logical reasons for changing rims).
I dont think they make snow tires to fit those rims so if your not in Cali or Florida...

Yeah but how diffrent is it from audio manufacturers?
I mean they push the limit for no reason, ie adires monster magnet.
Same thing I guess, even though they don't have any practicality.
