Oh and I did try it with the stock Skyline (only modded the engine to level 3) and could still only get 18,000 god i want this race overwith so i can move forward and unlock more lol

That's the same track I just did 182,000 on (Capilano Heights) ...

Soo what car seems to be the best to start with? When I was messing with the game when I first got it I used the stupid **** miata that was a hopeless cause...

 

start with the 240..... awsome car..... car get like 550 hp outta it ..... i still use it now.... and i am 70% done the game...lol [img]smile.gif[/img]

 

240 isn't available right off the bat BlackIce.

Doug I started with the civic. I read that the miata was bad because in drag races the motor blows to easy.

 

The 240SX is available from the start and I've found it to be the best all-around car in the game.

Although I use the AE86 Corolla most of the time because it's the best handling car in the game and the fastest for circuit, sprint, and URL races.

And the Miata isn't bad in drag races because the motor blows too easy. You have complete control over your gearing and throttle, so if the motor blows, it's your own damn fault. The Miata sucks for drag racing because it's weak and it has difficulty with traction at the start if you over-rev.

*Tip* Use SUVs for drag racing ... I've found the AI gives you a huge advantage when you do ...

I never saw the 240 [img]graemlins/freak.gif[/img] hmmm maybe its different with each level of play? Or I was just to anxious when playin that i didnt even notice lol

Jmac its in the official strategy guide that the miata isn't great for drags because the motor blows quickly.

Suv's for drag racing? really? is that their sole purpose I couldn't figure out why they included them in the game lol
