Grahpics look better on my parent's computer (FX5600) ...

I imagine they do, but I don't think it would be that drastic of a change from Dx8 to Dx9.... anyway off topic of the thread...

 

I've a 9200 SE video card with the latest DX works perfectly [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]

 

^^^Each card is made on a specific DX platform, my 9800pro is based on DX 8 games, where as the 5600 Jmac mentioned is based on DX9 games so of course if that card is say DX9 with a dx9 game the graphics well be abit better.

 

I still like my card and my point was it works great lol

 

LOL... yes but it the card itself is based on Dx7 I think so have dx 9 doesn't really improve to ya much for ya.. but yeah it does it's job.. my buddy has a 9500 I think it is? and graphics look just as good as my 9800 pro

 

Mine was free I can't complain lol. If a game says to install DX9 or 10 or w/e I install it if its offered with it. I consider it as an update and just play the games rather than sit there and try to pick the difference out.

 

Obviously lol but cards are built on specific hardware version of DX not software software just allows the game to be played on previous Hardware Dx models

I feel outta the game again lol, I downloaded MotoGp that's a pretty cool bike game, as well downloading GTR Fia I think it's called anyone play that?
