Yeah that makes sense. Why go to a team that looks to be a contender this year AND make more money.
Great, he's a moron and still overpaid.

The Leafs got Allison....but like anyone wants that squishy headed underachiever, hes been in the NHL 10 years and has only ever played more than 75games like three times.

Ya, I think if you have a strong tender, it boosts the confidence of the players, and they'll play harder and better, but a goalie can only do so much, heck, he can't score all the goals lol

it was a TEAM effort, Mikka didn't score goals neither did Habbiboolin(sp). Someone has to put the puck in the net not just stop the puck from going in the net.

If you all think that the cup was one by goaltending you have it all wrong. YES goalies made the difference and saved a lot of wrongs but it was the TEAM that won it not just one person.

And YES goalies help morale and confidence but in the end its team work that wins the games not one person.

I wouldn't agree with the term "overachievers" for the past cup winners either. Plus many of them were payed lots of money to play well and they did.
As stated it was a team effort and they played their hearts out. The whole team.

And I heard this afternoon that Pittsburg got Palffy. Gonna be some contenders this season I believe.

WHO DOESNT Pittsburg have lol

Oh but wait!

"The Pittsburgh Penguins are expected to make a final decision on goaltender Curtis Joseph, possibly as early as Friday"

Like that'll help we've seen his performances with detroit the past couple seasons since he got there and it wasn't so great lol.
