Nobody has posted because nobody really cares. We've been hearing almost daily reports the last 10 months. Not saying that I'm not going to be going to see Edmonton whoop Calgary this year though now that the Roadrunners are gone. About the only thing I'm not looking forward to is paying $100+ for the same seats I paid for last year that cost me ~$25.

 

hmm oiler's senator's and canuck's are about the only game's i'm going to watch. i think they should just keep the AHL, i really do not like paying an arm and a leg for a decent seat at a hockey game. the AHL actually had decent priced ticket's. we bought season ticket's to the roadrunner's. now i'm not all to sure what's going to happen to them

 

The roadrunners are no more for this year.

 

I went to a half dozen Roadrunner games over the corse of the season. They were good to watch. Of course the beer is still $6.75

 

are they doin shootouts even in the play offs? Cuz that'll take some excitement out, those leaf games with 7 overtimes is nerve racking but great lol

 

Speak for yourself, i had to get someone watching live tv to email me as the picks came out for the draft lottery.

I'm excited about the rule changes, i like the shootouts in regular season after playoff's. Also kinda interested about the no line change after icing. Not to mention how crazy this season is gonna be! Lemieux could be and likely will be playing with crosby. Jagr is talkin about going back to pitty. Plus they're pickin up recchi. It's gonna be a crazy season, any team has access to nearly any player.

I think all in all things are pretty sweet how they're going, not that i really had a problem with things before, but i'm excited with what they've done. I like that the minimum a player can make was raised, and that a cap was set per player, so we won't have $60M team salaries again. Make things a lot more realistic. Teams like the bruins have like 4 players signed....it's gonna be a crazy crazy season.

I'm impressed and cant wait!!! I'm kinda sad crosby won't be coming to a cdn team, but i won't mind watching him work with lemiux. I'd also definitely like to see toddorbert back on the ice with van (but am not wanting to start a huge debate over him).

I'm just over all stoked to see how things work out this year. It's gonna be a crazy season!!!

 

i wonder how the oiler's will do this year, they alway's seam to slack off a month or so before the playoff's and that's when it hurt's them the most.

 

yeah i wish Crosby went to at least a canadian team even if it was ottawa or vancouver etc.

Personally, I wouldn't care less if the NHL just shut down for good along with every other pro sports organization. Grownups whining(players and management)about not enough money. Doing what so many would dream about for a living and doing nothing but b*tch about how little money they're getting. $450,000 as a base salary! No wonder a friggin' Leafs ticket is well over $100 for a crappy seat.
I just don't understand how anybody would want to support such BS!
