It's too bad that the fans can't decide what to do in a situation like that, like maybe fire the troublemakers and hire some new people, that are actually in it for the love of the game.
I mean when is it enough money? $1mil, $10mil, $100mil a season? They're hockey players, nothing more.

Personally, I wouldn't care less if the NHL just shut down for good along with every other pro sports organization. Grownups whining(players and management)about not enough money. Doing what so many would dream about for a living and doing nothing but b*tch about how little money they're getting. $450,000 as a base salary! No wonder a friggin' Leafs ticket is well over $100 for a crappy seat.
I just don't understand how anybody would want to support such BS!

Its all about money now.. in a way its their job but does a hockey player REALLY need that much money when everything else is paid for them already...
However I guarentee(sp) you that the NHL lost a lot of fans even if it won't look that way. Opening season game will tell, thinkin about buggin my dad to let me go with him to game 1 of the regular season

cant wait for hockey, cant friggin wait, hockey night in canada saturday and nfl on sunday, gimme a flat of mountain crest, and im all in. one more thing, every person here would have signed a overpaid player contract if they were in the same position, if someone was willing to pay you 1.5 million to play hcokey and you only scored 5 goals and 20 assists per season, would say "no mr. general manager in not worth it", if you way you would, your lying.........

I will have to see if the new rules make the game any more exciting. I didn't miss NHL one bit, I watch WHL, and it is 10x more exciting to be sitting practically on top of the ice, for $350 for season tickets, watching players who give their all every night.
