ya no season just playoffs that is the only time that people watch hockey is during playoff so forget the season.

 

Hey the season's always been too long anyway ...let's see some intense regular schedule games cause they can't afford ANY nights off on a short season... it'll be intense and entertaining right through because every game means so much and they don't have to try and pace themselves over a gruelling season...Bring it ON!!!

 

I want to see a hockey season as much as the next guy.

But Im a diehard Leafs fan and to be honest I could do without a season...why you ask.

Because the last thing I want to see is the Leafs win the damn cup for the first time since '67 and all I'm gonna hear for the rest of my life is "ya well that cup in '05 wasn't a REAL win cuz they only played less than half a season".

and for the leafs name to have an asterix beside it on the actual cup forever.

That is heartache I don't need.

hockey is not saved yet. It is a deal in principle that "the hockey news" reported. Its a report nothing done yet. And then 2 hours after they reported it the NHLPA denied it.

But they are meeting today in NY. Im confident they will get a deal done. Because they would not meet if they were not close to getting a deal done since they just canceled the season. They would have taking a longer cooling off period if they were not close.

We will have to wait

Also, there is no asterik on the cup, I'm 99% sure of that.

 

News guy was dumb, I dont know why he'd simply come out and say NHL Is saved on live television. And if it doesnt become saved is all im gonn abe...

I want even a short regular season I'm sick of watchin OHL games with the 16-21 year olds. Oshawa SUCKS this year lol I went to Thursdays game cheered for Ottawa (cause Im not from Oshawa and I dont even like Oshawa anyway) and the 67's rocked them 6-3 lol Then Missisagua(sp) took them last night 6-1! lol

And I also agree with Tim's opinion on this one, Gretzky should be running it. And should have been in on this one from the start.

I love hockey, but at this point who even cares? What do we get like 15 games?! WOW. And all it would take is for some crappy team to get on a hot streak and they could hold the cup. I say they should just call the whole season for sure. A 3 week season doesn't really determine the best!
