This devcie is desgined soley to supliment subwoofwers, not to replace them. It is optimized from 25Hz down.

The unit adjusts the pitch of the blades in relation to the freq.

It is for home theater not music, and there is a lot of movies with sub 25Hz content.

Sub 25Hz bass is one of those things that unless you have heard it you don't know what your missing.

Check this out:

Edit: I have a good idea of what sub 25hz bass feels like jrace..

I still question how much information you are going to find in any media that is as low as 10hz or 15Hz, though...

if it can play over 20hz then yes I see some merit to the device...

Edit again... 1/3 horse power motor turns the fan blades, which are connected to a rod in the center of a woofer voice coil. Instead of the voice coil moving a cone, it moves the rod, which then moves smaller rods that adjust the pitch of the fan blades

I question if this guy knows what he's talking about... he describes both a servo motor which spins the blades... then a voice coil moving a rod making the fins change pitch...

I think the blades just spin...

No, the blades actually change pitch.

There are lots of movies with low bass, Black Hawk Down, Starwars Ep II, Finding Nemo are just three that some to mind. There are many more.

The Cyclone doesn't make full revolutions...it "spins" back and forth...just too bad it has all that mechanical noise... :\

Apparantly this device creates so much unwanted noise that yo must mount it in another room (or closet).

Hmmm, $12000.00
Only plays from 20hz down,
must be mounted in a nother room...
I think I'll spend my cash elsewhere!

hahaha this is really funny and the "sub woofer" is really funny too. I would love to hear that on a nice hot day on my patio.

Well, it must be good for venting popcorn odours around the house as well. Now that I think about it my dad had some guy come to the house looking for old ceiling fans...I see where it has now surfaced.
