If VW appeals to you, I would opt for the 1.8T. or if gas prices are a concern, go with the TDI. (average of 1000 km/full tank - highway)

I am thinking an older Golf III with the VR6, they are cheap to buy, and have a ton of torque which is good for someone who is used to driving domestic cars. I find VW's to be about average for repairs, the nice thing is that so much is interchangeable from one model to the next. So parts are pretty commonplace. There are a ton of aftermarket parts out there for them as well, and a chip intake and exhaust are relatively inexpensive and really wake up that motor. If you want to get wild, HPA in Langely can build you a 500+ hp twin turbo if you have the dinero. PLus they are very practical, they have larger interiors and trunks than most of their competitors offerings.
ohhh god i just about cr4eamed my self pushnoob when you said stealh. damn those have to be one of the nicest dodge car's!!!!! hmm well from waht i'm hearing is gas is going down so i might buy a blazer, a car would be even better and yes jordy a civic is still in the very top of my list. i like the style of the new 06 civic's, but like the style of the civic that was on need for speed underground 2. they look awsome pimped out on that game. i defently know i'm not getting a focus now, those damn thing's are more trouble then they are worth. if you want a corrsion **** car thier is the car for you.
