I see a lot of products claiming they will remove pinstripes and decals on vehicles, but I was wondering if anyone know of any that actually do the trick. I want to remove 2 small pinstripes on a vehicle I am painting along with a long 3" wide decal. Any products that actually work to help remove this stuff?

if you peel it off and there is sticky stuff under just use some bug/tar remover to get the extra crap off, works easy enough. Used it when I took my sunfire gt badges off my car to get the sticky black crap that was stuck on off. Just hope those retards didn't clear coat your car without having removed that stuff like the jerk offs did with my on door, had to put the badge back on that side

Use a heat gun or a hair dryer to get the stuff off. Start a peel and as you peel heat up the next part with the hair dryer. Comes off REAL easy. Then for the goop left on after use acetone. If you use varsol it could damage the paint. You will have to wax after you you do this because the acetone will remove the wax. But it really is no biggie. A good place to start to peel is the door cracks or other body cracks. Oh and do not use a razor. It will scratch the paint no matter how carefull.
