I think i have an idea of what i want to do. Next year i believe i want to go to SAIT (Calgary, Alberta) and get my Computer Engineering Technology diploma. After that, the plan would be to get my bachelor's of Applied Technology Information Systems. After all that, we'll see how things are going, and quite possibly get a major in 4 different fields available.

Can anyone give me any insight in this related field such as work descriptions and/or availability of work, etc. Thanks guys, i know some of you out there have knowledge about this.

just a tip, find out what field you are interested in. Call up companies and talk to people in that specific job you are wanting to do and get them to list the goods and the bads. Ive done this kind of job search a fw times and its helped me out to decide weather or not to go down that road. Also ask what kind of school, training they took and how many years. Also find out how many years it took them to get into the position they are in now. Hope this helps

Making sure you can find a good job in your field when you are done is the main thing to consider....

Information technology... probably a good chance you will find something somewhere...

As for this, i do believe you have to get your "pre requisite (sp?)" courses before you can enter some fields in university? Correct me if im wrong please, still very new to me.
