Alright, so the new place in May needs a pool table [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]

Does anyone know where I can find a used one or even look at used ones for ideas ONLINE other than ebay. I plan to look through the newspaper classifieds but I'd also like to be prepared ahead of time (which is why I'm looking now). The size will come later, generally I'm just lookin for a good quality table preferably with black, blue or tan cloth no green cloth.

Because at some point we are going to use the glow in the dark novelty kit, but other nights we'll just want regular lighting with a regular set.

All I can find from google so far is how to guides on how to pick a used one which is also helpful, but I'd like a place if possible to see the prices I'm going to be looking at, new and used.

And anyone who knows of someone who has purchased a table in general or personally, does the table include anything?? Cues, *****, chalk, rack etc

New tables don't include anything unless the dealer is throwing them in for free/promo.

Not sure where to find them used in this area though unless you keep an eye on the local paper in the for sale section.

 

Sean what're the chances of finding a table in store (new if it has to be) for $1,500?

 

This time of year stores get slow and the new products are coming out which means good deals.
I would check around and hopefully you'll find something decent for a good price.

 

My friends boyfriend just picked up a sweet table for $400 from the Peterborough classifieds. Cues and ***** included, all in amazing shape. I don't forget the make of the table, but it was very solid.

Scour your local papers or put in a want ad and see if you get any bites........

My dad just picked up a nice table at a yard sale.... heavy slate and heavy construcion (I used to have a cheaper slate table and the difference was major! - 250lbs vs 600lbs lol)

Anyway.. he lucked out as usual.. think he said $250...

hes selling his old one for $100 with some cues and ***** if ur intetested..... haha (its not the greatest)

i have one for sale doh....but you live way over yonder ont he evil side of canada. I don't remember what brand it is, but it was a higher end table, 5.5 x 10 or 11 i believe. 3 pieces of 2" thick slate which are each rediculously heavy.


and cost me $500 to ship it + some other jazz from bc to here.

 

Yeah that really sucks... We need a good deal but a GOOD table too lol
