i was looking at a set of kicker speakers online and the component ones have a gold bar on the bottom of the amp that goes inbetween the speaker and the tweet except it has more than one screw it has a couple at the bottom

is that so you can hook up more than one tweet?

 

and has anyone bought any soundstream speakers before , how good are they?

 

That is not an amp... Its a crossover that separates highs and lows from the amp.... It has one set of +/- for input from your amp, one set of +/- output for the 6.5" mid and one set of +/- output for the tweeter

There are two crossovers, one for each side ( left/right)
Amp------->crossover=======>mid and tweeter
