Just lift a 18" sub in each arm above your head 10 times, you should be pretty well stretched after that.

believe it or not (don't use me as an example) i know a lot about fitness/health/nutrition. i just don't follow it (sometimes). but there have been times when i was really fit and really "buff" - you can stop laughing....now. anywho, stretching a little before and A LOT after a workout will do wonders for your results and your rest time. especially after a workout, stretch any muscles that you worked for at least 30 seconds. count it slowly and don't cheat. as well, while your heart rate is coming back down, loosen up any other muscles for 15 seconds. to really get some added bonus, have a protein shake made with milk. the protein will be used up right away to rebuild the tired muscle and the lactose will prevent sore muscles and the calcium will prevent stiff joints weakening of bones.

good luck....i'm actually in the process of working out right now too... i gotta condition myself to be prepared for the xmas feast where my weight will go all to he|| again!!!
