Try Toronto Chinatown....its there...the 'real' packaging is all in Thai or chinese, I think.

Fat Whacker, dont you mean ephedrine, not Taurine?
If you DID mean Taurine, thats surprising, I didnt know.
If you mean Ephedrine, you're right, and due to new legislation, Ephedrine IS basically illegal to sell in Canada and US, or will be shortly.

Hey Toolman. Where does one get that Bawl's drink? Sounds like just the weapon to get me through some of my **yawn** night shifts.

Target (a big store like Walmart) in NY state had four packs of Red Bull on sale for $6.50 about two weekends ago... I stocked up!

I believe Red Bull was invented in Austria. When I was there a few months ago, they had all these cars with Red Bull cans mounted on them... looked funny.

A nurse tried explaining to me while I was drinking Bull/Vodka why it was bad to do so but I just blocked her out which was easy since I was buzzed anyway.

Whacker,
Not tryin to bust your nuts, but can you point me in the direction of the info regarding Taurine which leads you to those conclusions, for my own knowledge, please?

I am under the assumption, from numerous readings regarding supplements, etc, that Taurine is essentially an inert Amino Acid, that is actually used to TREAT various heart problems in the medical industry.

If this is wrong, PLEASE show me, because I dont want to be mistaken about such an important thing.

Cheers

Taurine is a supplement that has been used for yers in the health and nutrition industry. It is an amino acid. It's a strong antioxidant, immuno booster and detoxifier. It is sold over the counter in doses far surpassing that of what you would ever find in a drink. Those claims by Whacker are absurd.

According to Health Canada, there are two products called Red Bull. Only one is permitted for sale in Canada and is classified as a non-prescription drug. Both versions contain vitamins that help the body to extract energy more efficiently, namely, niacin, d-pantothenic acid and vitamin B6. The version banned for general sale in France, Denmark and Sweden is also banned in Canada. It contains high levels of caffeine and an amino acid called taurine.
Taurine really has no know benifits for humans, it is however an essential feline amino acid - i'd be more worried about the caffine!
