A can of compressed air, hold it upside down and it will freeze the glue on the decal. Then it should seperate from the glue, and you can use wd-40 or such to remove the glue!

I am a professional detailer and a limo driver. I've taken off oh-so-many of those decals in my day. Some of those, you can just peel off with your bare hands, other times you need a heat gun. if the paint is a year old, dont worry about fade, there wont be enough to notice at all. blow dryers for hair can work, but I recommend a good heat gun, on low setting. Go very very slow, just heat it up enough whereas its just below melting point, then stretch out the decal, it should peel right off without breaking. If it breaks due to heat, your using way too much heat, and run the risk of making the paint bubble. make sure its a little too warm to touch, but no more. It should be soft and plyable, just pull it off bit by bit. It should take a total of 30 minutes to a full hour depending on how fast you go, considering the amount of decals you have. Just borrow an heatgun, or something. I advise strongly againest chemicals. if you use this method that I just mentioned, then they are not needed.
