Detroit Sucks and I'll never have respect for them. Why? To many times they tried to buy the cup. And the one time it managed to kick them in the butt right out the first round.

GO LEAFS GO!

Buy the cup? No. They call Detroit "hockeytown" for a reason: they love the game and want to win. It makes no difference if they win teh cup at the end or not. What matters is that they went out, were not afraid to spend some money, and gave the fans a decent chance at it because that's want they want.
Toronto puts a couple heavily overpriced players on an otherwise unimpressive team just to sell the seats and overcharge on them as they know people will pay for it even though they haven't had a team cup worthy for many years. Just more proof the head brass of the Leaf's cares more for making the overall dollar than actually winning the cup.

BTW, Leaf's 0-3 now.

Hockey town name or not a season or a few they have tried to actually BUY their way to a cup.

And by the way Toronto is 0-2 not 0-3. They've played TWO games. Might I add it is still only the beginning of the season where as everyone is still learning to play together.

It's the beginning of the season with a bunch of new players and young guys. Give them time. Everyone knows Toronto's true colours shine in the playoffs.
