What the hell is Allison doing, he freakin turtled it up to the line then does this 5 years hack shot at the net... Keep that Douche outta the shootout... Sundin should just use toothpick to hold his swollen eye open, put on a damn visor and start playing....

The shoot-out was brought in for 2 reasons, a kick in the *** of sorts to stop teams like the Wild and Devils from just wasting the 5mins and taking the tie this waythere is always someong getting 2 pts not just 1, its also more exciting to the fans dont forget the NHL is ranked about 4th or 5th in the US for sports and they need to appeal to americans and what better way then a do or die situation?
