i doubt you'll find too much.. manufacturers aren't too quick to tell you how their sensors work so that you can get around them

Bigmike alarm sensors are simple electrical components I am just not sure what component they use for all of them such as a glass breaking sensor

well if you just waht the gneral idea that shouldbe he hard to find. i thin a glass breakage sensor senses vibrations in the frequency of breaking glass.

well for home you can have:

door contacts
motion detectors
glass breaks
water sensors
vibration sensors etc

whatever you can think of they probably have it

door contacts are easy, its just a magentic switch, when door is closed magnet pulls contacts together completing circuit.

alarms run in NC mode, meanign if you cut the wire it trips the alarm anyways.

Dont belive the BS that alarmforce boats about even if there line is cut they can still call central station, yeh it works, but it uses cellular technology, almost all alarm panels can have cellular module installed to do the same thing as alarm force, just ask your alarm company.

Or you can go DVAC

which is a dedicated phone line, basically a modem dials into a central computer, and stays logged on, so if that phone line gets cut the signal goes dead sending off an alarm.

so if your running DVAC and you think your smart and cut the phone line your still screwed

almost all alarm devices run NC, but the some that do run Normally Open (NO) they put end of line resistors on them so if the line gets cut the alarm is still triggered anyways.

hope that helps.

glass break sensors are basically mics that pick up high frequencies i believe, personally i think that of all the additional components to add to a car alarm glass break is the MOST important, i used to love mine, my car got broken into like 4 times, i got the alarm, made it very known at school (back when i was in highschool, and had a pretty good idea who was breakin into my car) that anything hard touching any glass on the car would set off the alarm, and the breakins stopped (when they broke in they would break the drivers window and open the door)

I would like to let everyone know that Alarm Force is a great security provider. Both of my parents are far into their retirement and their age seems to be holding them back. They have difficulty walking up and down the stairs and have little to no means of protecting themselves. Unfortunately, their next door neighbor’s home has recently been broken into so I decided to purchase them a security system. The representative gave me a perfect package deal where the system was thoroughly explained to my parents and they could call a representative at any time for more assistance. Above all, it is great knowing that I don’t have to worry about their safety since they are finally protected and secure in their home.
