what are those contraptions called that you unlock/open your doors just by pressing a button. my geo metro door locks are ****ed beyond belif and i am goin around thinkin about how i can make a system to lock/unlock my door .

any info would be appreciated

door lock actuators do the locks. Solenoids open the doors.

Oh ok. Hey Dereck Have you shaved the door handles on Mk2 Vws before? I'm contemplating on maybe doing that to the Jetta next year.

Never done a VW, can't be that hard, and with the crappy pot metal VW uses for their doorhandles it will probaly save you the cost of replacing the handles every two years. I am going to put 2nd Generation Passat handles on our Cabriolet.
