Z24 - does a police dog come up to you just because and put the chomp down on you..... It's all in the training which starts the day a dog is born. If Yuli wants a guard dog, get him enrolled in puppy training first and then guard dog training after. Yuli is already on the way to teaching this dog lifelong bad habits. Wake up and smell the coffee here. All puppies bite for sure, but all puppies should never be taught to bite like Yuli is so obviousely doing in his picture.
Agreed, but she still sounds scary to **** off

I feel sorry for the people who have posted in this thread after she reads this and Rob buys her plane tickets to everyone's homes ...

my dog is in proper training if u care to know. and about him not biting me LOLOL are u seriouse? if he wants to play and bit what am I supposed to do? he takes my hand and tries to chew on it. ok the picure looks lots more violent then it really was, i coudlnt hold the camera steady so it looks like he's tearing at my hand, when in fact its a steady shot. i dont understand how u guys play with your dogs if u dont have any physical contact with them????????????????????? im lost.

both the breeder and the trainer seen him do this to me and neither one indicated that there is a problem.
MR2NR ^^^ read that man. I don't think Yuli is teaching his dog to be violent regardless of what purpose he has for it. Wholy crap man u need to chillax.

Why jump to the assumption that he is an irresponsible owner that will give his dog the opportunity to bite a small child? If the dog has the mentality to do it, a smart owner would know and prevent that situation from happening. If it is going to be a guard dog, then if he is a good owner he will make sure no small children come near it.
(1) Why make the assumption that he is a responsible owner when he has shown from this and past posts that he is far from it?
(2) A guard dog is there to guard, be it a truck, house, property. If a small child or other dog comes his way do you think the dog will not bite?
(3) a good owner is in control of his dog at all times and would never have a his dog trained to be a guard dog if it was to be a companion.
(4) Breed legislation is now a fact for Ontario if I am correct (Bev will comment on this I'm sure). Pitbulls banned in Ontario, is it the dog or the owner? My bet is the owner.
(5) Maybe things will be different for Yuli, maybe he'll become a statistic, time will tell. As far as I am concerned, he is starting off on the wrong foot and needs to step back and take a new approach. Maybe then he'll be a responsible dog owner.
PS... Bev is on her way home from Hongcouver right now, should be back around 8:00 tonight. Expect to hear from her. While we all combined may know a thing or two about car audio, she knows more about dogs, their behavior and what makes a good or bad owner than more than likely all of us on this site combined. Yuli, she has good information for you, all you need to do is ask.

MR2NR - (1) Why make the assumption that he's not responsible when you dunno him
(2)It's a puppy in training its an unfocused picture. The dog however is not in training at that exact moment.
(3)Some dogs were meant to be guard dogs every job has a profession just like every human being has one, its like saying u trained a child to be a serial killer when he or she grows up when in fact that is psychological.
(4)Pitbulls are KNOWN to turn on people its a KNOWN FACT, how do I know this becuz I was attacked by 2 when i was in grade 8 waiting for the bus and after that experience I did a lot of research on them, I am QUITE glad that the breed is banned. And people tend to also neglect certain breeds of dogs.
(5)You judge people you dunno right off the bat by an unfocused picture of a puppy. My sister over the summer bought a black lab, they did nothing but love the dog they didnt teach him to bite etc and neither did the original breeder what so ever. This dog for a short period of time went through a biting faze which EVERY DOG DOES and he slowly grew out of it, this dog isn't in obedience classes yet however its one of the nicest dog's you'll meet yet still a puppy. So lemme get this straight if I took a picture back then of the dog 'biting me' I would'a been considered bad and that i was TEACHING the dog to be that way Its a picture like wholy crap dont read into it so much
(6)Wholy CRAP man chill OUT

Z24, your school called, they want you back in grade 1. Get your facts straight before you choose to comment. Start by finding out what kind of dog is more prone to biting for starters, you'll find that a Pitbull is way down the list. So again I say, it starts with the owner.

Hey MR2NR your mom called and said to get some better insults, insults that are actually insulting. I was attacked by a pitbull thanx i have experience in it and I did look it up. Pitbull's deserve to be banned. Thanx for comin out now buh bye

And just like a human being it CAN be psychological.

Also, if u think it starts with the owner, how would you explain wolves all being vicious? No Human owner however someone out there may own a wolf and they're still vicious in nature regardless of how they're trained.

My mom has passed on you little F***tard, don't even consider going there with me. So in your vast amount of judgemental research, what did you find out about the owners and in particular the ones who owned the dogs that attacked you? What if you were attacked by a pack of escaped rabid rabbits. Would you ban the Easter Bunny? Impose a breed ban? Right, thanks for coming out, take a seat. You are so not gelin...

And idiot stick, a wolf is a highly advanced WILD animal, get that straight. Here it is again...... WILD ANIMAL, not a domesticated animal. A dog is as close as a resemblence to a wolf as your car is to a performance machine. Start something will me will you...... My mom was a championship smarta$$ and god knows I've that trait in me. Don't you ever talk crap about my mom again. Ever.

The passing of a family member or friend is never something to be taken lightly, I am very serious about what I said. Thanks for the sort of withdrawal that I read between the lines. It's been a busy day here and I'm having issues with a remote start alarm and it's getting the best of me. Had to come in and look for more info on it, noticed a reply. Go snooze, it's past your bedtime.... had to get another dig in....
