pioneer premier subs are hella tight, what model are you looking at?

 

i accually like the pioneer line of subs, i had this one sub 12", dont know the modle number but it had the watt symbol on its cone, and it pounded hard and wat really surprised me was it was clean... the box was also homemade, i picked it up for 80$ with the box, oh and the cone had a dent in the middle of it to. but ya i would love to get my hands on some of those carbenfiber lokoing ones, even thoe they are plastic, or even those other ones i was talkin about

I heard that the pioneer premier sub competition model?? won the worlds...any truth to that..the shop by where I lived had one and that mother funker was huge

Hey Aaron! I would take the pioneers because now for DB Drag you would be in Street A instead of B (Last years street A) [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img] I'm sure with a decent box it would be just as loud

Ok..but what kind of power can be run through them?Do I need to build a different box(specs)?Can I expect a change in my spl?if so,for better or worse?

As far as model,I dont know specific numbers,but its the newer one that has the carbonfiber looking cone..

Oh and as far as me being in debt,Bryce,like I said in the post to start with,I would have to sell my Sony's for the money to buy the Pioneer's.If I was going to just go buy them,I wouldn't be posting this...I want to be sure about it 100% before I make a move..

^^^^that is true, the SPL5000 won the deathmatch.in fact, i even felt the dustcap after the match, and they were all cool as a cucumber [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img] ,awsome 12 inch subs.

I think you should stick with the sonys, and use the extra cash to pay off some of your debt load. Your not going to make it any further ahead if you keep doing stupid **** like this.
