I need to get a new pair of roller blades this year but I want to get a pair that will be wide enough for me this time. I have a square foot, I comfortably where between double and tripple E in shoes and ice skates but I have never found rollerblades wide enough. Does anyone know a good brand that makes a crazy wide boot?
That and no where in town has CCM replacment brakes for rollerblades if someone could hook me up that would be amazing.

are you planning on getting inline hockey skates? or like a soft boot recreational/fitness type boot?
In general i'd recommend the soft boot, unless you're playing hockey in them. That being said they don't make soft boots in different widths...but i'm try'n to remember which brand fits wider. I believe salamon is a lil wider...hmm i'll ask my bro again - i sold hockey sticks not rollerblades doh! But i'll find out for ya.
Other than that, make sure you get something that has a metal or similar frame. Generally as soon as you move to a metal/aluminum frame you're gonna be moving to abec 5 bearings and you'll just be in a boot that is generally more breathable, stronger and lighter.
About a year ago...the price point for the above started at around $200 as for your brake, i'm sure the shop i worked at carried it...but i'm on the wrong side of canada none the less! Or if you wanted a likely quicker response...sports@unitedcycle.com or i think my bro's email address specifically there is inline@unitedcycle.com
Either way, good luck.
