Telus MP3 phones
depending on the internet access on package on you phone you can upload the ringtone from a web site..
Here is what I do
#1 go here Free Nokia Themes, Sony Ericsson Themes, Free ringtones, Mobile Themes, Mobile Downloads and find the ringtone you want
#2 go here Phone Uploader and Upload the ringtone to the site. (it will give you a code remember it)
#3 with your phone browser go here Quick Jump and input the code do download the ringtone/file
url for #3 is http://rumkin.com/tools/sprint/jump.php

Not trying to download ringtones, the phone has a built in MP3 player, but I can only download songs from Telus's website which is terrible. I would like to put some of my own music on the phones microSD card, but when I try it says "write protected".
I just seen this on the Telus site

how are you connecting the card to the computer? Through an adapter or what?
make sure the adapter doesn't have anything funny on it. Otherwise, format the card with disk management and then try again into the phone and format it with the phone's's file system. See if you get anywhere.
lock the card with the switch insert it...see what happens, then unlock the card and try again.
