Got a few little rust spots on my car, I want to touch them up before they badly.

Im going to buy a mini sand blaster to make sure i get off all the rust, then put some zinc based primer and touch up paint after.

Any other suggestions I do to slow or stop the rust?

Is zinc primer common? something i can pick up from CT?

I havnt done much body work before so any help would be great for anyone who does this for a living.
