Trucks

The s/10 forum is a great site...I used to go there when I was thinking of buying an s/10.
I'm probably one of the few people in my area that has the guts to say I like Ford better than Chevy....that's really not something you say when you live next to the GM truck plant but hey....IMO, Ford builds better trucks than Chevy. Especially when it comes to work trucks.
Ford has always built a better engine than chevy. The 4.0 v-6 is one of the best powerplants on the planet. They are strong, and can produce a ton of horsepower and there's a lot more aftermarket for the 4.0 than a 22-RE from Toyota or whatever Nissan puts in their trucks.
Ford also builds a stronger truck than Chevy, again, IMO. But I've been out in the mud pits and out on the rocks. I've watched the Chevy's twist their frame like a pretzel, and the Ford and Dodge guys don't budge.
Anyway, I'm not gonna bash GM products anymore, you can like whatever trucks you want but when it comes down to it I'm a Ford guy....also a Dodge guy cause Hemi's RULE.
Oh, Loudsubz....I found out this afternoon that one of my uncle's is selling his 2 wheel drive Nissan King Cab mini truck....it was at the house briefly and I had a look at it...it does need some body work(minor stuff) but it runs good, it's automatic, interior is in nice shape. I'm not sure how many miles or how much he wants for it but if you'd like I can find out for you.

hey, no problem man.
He says he's gonna do the body work on it here at my house which means it'll probably be sitting in the driveway for a long, long time just like the 40 other vehicles that were supposed to be finished a year and a half ago. So if something changes and you wanna come look at it or whatever, just PM me or e-mail me.
Actually I'll find out that price tomorrow and post it anyway and the mileage just in case someone else is interested in it.

Ha ha ha ha... yeah grow up.
I've had my 97 Ranger for over a year now, with the only hiccup being the need to replace two oxygen sensors, which is understandable after 154,xxx km.
Having always been a chevy man, I'm rather pleased at what the little truck has given me, nothing but fun and reliability. Unfortunately, since I bought a bike, I need something that the bank sees as a bit cheaper on paper (not to say upgrades won't come soon )
It's a great truck, so don't go knocking a ranger untill you've owned one. I have, and I'm a happy owner.
