no, the newer LCD's have better refresh time now-a-days, I sold one to my buddie (the lg 48' LCD) and hooked up Halo 2 to it...... the High Def. cables made the game feel like you were in it!

I bought an overhead projector and wouldn't go back to a console for the world.It takes up no space excellent picture! Panisonic 700u

yeah wait 5000hrs.... MAX..... more like 3000hrs then you'll be crying.... it'll be half as bright and you'll have to spend $500-700 dollars on a bulb.....

My projector does require a dark room and my room is dedicated home theater.Also I only watch movies on it not cable.So with 3000-5000hrs at 1500-2500 movies it works just fine for me!
