Its actuall D'Aoplito - and Ive never heard it with a Mid-tweet-widwoof combo...should sound good though. I like the idea of aligning the VC's of the tweets and mids though.

Let us know what you end up with!

I mise well post some pics of my "towers".

My dad is currently using them since his set he is redoing/upgrading etc (rebuilding the passive x-overs, and refinishing the exterior).

Yes they are. They use Altec Lansing Mid horns and Electrovoiuce T35 horn tweeters as well. Me and dad built the x-overs as well. Never in my life did I have to wind so much copper wire.

My dad is building 2 more sets of the Klipschsas well for my sister and one for the other house. lol

Interesting - I built some Pi speakers http://www.pispeakers.com

They are horn based and have a corner horn modeled after the famous Klipsch - they use all pro drivers(Eminence and JBL) in the kits.

Have a look at my home theatre speakers I built from Pi plans

Left and Right speakers

Centre speaker

sorry if I jacked your thread - I just don't run into people who know/appreciate horns often enough.

craig.
