wal-mart censoring

i have heard that walmart will not sell cd`s unless they are sensored. do they do that for DVD`S as well ??

basically i dont want to buy a dvd thats sensored (swearing cut out)

but walmart being a US based company wouldnt most of the goods be shipped up here ?

No the DVD's are not censored. And most of the cd's that they cell will say "clean version" on the label if they are censored. They still do sell some material that isn't censored, it's just that the majority of their CD's are. But DVD's are not censored at all!

Remember in the 90's when they repackaged copies of MegaDeath's Youthaniaisa CD with the dead babies.
Also, they refused to sell Godsmacks original release cause one kids dad got pissed off about some slightly offensive language. I can't believe Family Guy ever hit the air down there.

Funny you mention this topic, but a few years ago I bought the Kid Rock cd from Wal-Mart (a.k.a American bad-***), when did this come into effect for the bans on certain cd's?
