if anyone thinks that smoking decreases the cost on our health care system they need to give their head a shake. Health care companies, drug companies, and everyone else that can, makes a fortune off of treating cancer, lung disease, and heart conditions; if there was no smoking, there would be much less of all of those things for our health care system to treat.

That said, what's almost as bad is the stupid parents who take their kid to the emergency room every time it cries or sniffles. They tie up waiting room space and increase waiting times for everyone else, when all the kid needs is rest and liquids.

 

Well like most things in life, it's a choice to smoke or not to. Simple as that....there was talk about doctors not wanting to treat anybody for heart/lung difficulties if they were a smoker.

Fine with me, I dunno about any of the other smokers on this forum, but if I'm gonna die from smoking, let me take that last drag and let me die. Don't gotta pay 8 bucks a pack or taxes on something that could kill me anyway.

Plus, if a doctor brings me back and I have to talk like Darth Vader or use one of those thing you hold up to your neck to speak, there's gonna be hell to pay for that doctor. I don't want to be like that, I wouldn't want my family to see me like that, so let me die.

My biggest pet peeve of today is people who want you to bring the price on something you're selling privately to the current bid of a simliar product on eBay. the thing hasn't even sold yet and he wants me to match the price.

 

^^^^ LOL, how true. I always like to say "if you want E-Bay prices, you can expect E-Bay service and warranty". My favorite is the guys who buy stuff online and then try to get their local audio dealer to help them out.
