The Best Buy & Future Shop by my house had over 20 people in line at noon today, one of the guys I work with has proven his dorkisim that I have always suspected the had by not only standing in line already but by being the first in line at Best Buy which he told me was thanks to his setting up a tent by the front door at 4pm WEDNESDAY! The bloody things dont even go on sale until 8am Friday. Crazy man, just crazy waiting in line for 40hours to get the next big toy that will be all over the market in 3 months and half the price.

All the games coming out on both consoles so far are getting superior reviews on the 360. This of course can be expected until SONY gets it together. However, SONY has shoved so many lies and BS down people's throats that I wouldn't trust their system as far as I could throw it. We had a lot of people at my work start camping out for them yesterday. I don't know why though. With no interesting games besides Resistance, there is just no reason to drop 500+ on a PS3. Not to mention almost every developer in the world has stated the 360 and PS3 are almost identical in terms of power and capability. With an ever so slight advantage going to the PS3. However, in an area where the 360 shines the PS3 lacks, and so forth. It goes back and forth for several things.

On a funny side note, the demo PS3 at my work is already dead. lol! That doesn't make me feel good about the system.

 

These people are wasting their time. FS next door is getting 19 of them, and there was 15 people there camped out at noon today, now there is over 20
I wanna tell them not to bother.
Wal mart gets 4 of them, and no one is allowed to line up till midnight.

 

I have a line on some. I plan on keeping one & putting the rest on sleazebay.

Love my 360 though...playin Gears of War, F.E.A.R, & Oblivion when I get a chance...all kick *** IMO.

 

If you can buy one for $700.00 or however much they cost and sell it on e-bay for $2800.00 US... THAT IS SOME DAMN GOOD PROFIT... WORTH THE DAY IN LINE ID SAY!

 

People would pay that much on Ebay

 

The Comox Valley RCMP had the first PS3 in Canada. Seems one managed to "fall" out the back door of Wally World at about 1:00 am. The kid was walking home with it in his hands. I can imagine the thing coming up for a police auction........of course that would never happen, it'll go right back to Wally World.
