I think the system is going to bomb after the initial craze, unless Sony gets some really good games going for it. The 360 already has some pretty awesome games and then there's the juggernaut known as HALO soon to be released...what does sony have????

I my opinion Sony has had the better titles on it's previous systems than the Xbox, thats why I got the PS2. I believe that given some time that the PS3 has greater potential than the 360 and its games will reflect this, it is just a matter of playing catch up for now.

This is very true. However, most of the upcoming SONY titles are nothing stellar. Minus, MGS4 and maybe a couple others. But, it's already been said MGS4 will be making it's way to the 360. As will most games on the 360 going to the PS3, minus Halo of course since MS owns Bungie. SONY could easily catch up. The only problem is as of now there have been 7 million 360's sold worldwide. And SONY will only have produced 1 million by Christmas. At that rate they'll be lucky if they're even able to produce another 10 million over the next year. And the 360 is almost at the 10 million mark already.

This leads to more developers favoring the 360. As of right now, who will they want to develop a game for? The company that has sold 7 million units or the company that won't even have a million manufactured by the end of this year? SONY is certainly still a huge contender. I just think they made a big mistake, letting MS get such a jump on them.

altho i think the PS3 held out better than the 360 when the they introduced it to the hammer : P haha
