i won't even read all this stuff...but i'll tell you.there's no point in arguing with a woman..you'll never win..just suck it up...and all their arguments make no sense sometime...but you gotta do..what you gotta do..suck it up..say your sorry..or else..it's gonna never end..

 

Couple thoughts...

The conversation seemed pointless to you, and it could well have been, but to your wife it wasn't. Why does she feel that "you and everyone else just doesn't listen to her"? May be a good way to broach the topic of what happened yesterday, tonight...
Yes, we (men) can multi-task and still be paying attention, but perception and reality can be two different things.

Also, you mentioned that "she has not been like this before" - maybe there are some other issues that she is feeling/dealing with that have not come up but are causing this "short fuse"?

One parting thought. Going to bed angry or without resolving a spousal conflict is never a good thing...

Yuli's point about "are you the same man that she married 10 years ago?" is a valid point for reflection.

Good luck to you with this - I hope that you both can resolve it rationally and be stronger for it.

that's some funny .....

I've been with my lady for 5 years.... she's absolutly great when it comes to cleaning, cooking and doing random like that and she's a great person to get to know but, there are times where we'll get into it and make our points across yet have a yelling match and we won't see eye-to-eye but, at the end we'll both realize that how small the matter was to be fighting over and after all these years that we stop and have a calm talk over it..... but I don't fell that you always have to say sorry with gifts because then they will know that you are a sucker *cough*Yuli*cough*and they'll cause fights to get gifts..... But I hope in the end that all will work out for you....
