so i got my sub in the mail and i got straight to work. this is my first ported box i have made and it went perfectly. its 1.5 cubes tunes at 34hz. it was kinda tricky finding the right port length for the box so i just shortend the hieght of the inside of the port, and doing that i could also smooth out the inside of the port to make a flare.

yeah it looks and sounds pretty good, but the amp i have is pretty old and crappy and only putting out about 800 watts. so ill be getting a new one pretty quick here.

 

very cool sub and box. how much is that sub?

 

youll need a big amp.they like lots of power.

 

you need something that can give that sub 1500 rms.

 

yeah im working on getting a new amp asap. probally an a.b 500 or 400
