cap and coil or crossover

narrowed my choice down to ALPINE 600C or JBL 607C the alpines have a cap on the tweeter and coil on the woofer while the jbl's have a separate passive crossover. Does this make a big difference and which would you buy.I can get the alpines for $112 taxes in and the jbl's for $150 taxes in.

Thanks

The inline crossover of the Alpines doesn't give you any ability to tweak the sound. The JBL crossover does have two tweeter level settings (0db and +3db) but this may not help if you need to lower the tweeter output. A better option would be a crossover with more tweeter adjustment or an active crossover for true SQ.
