I listen to rock music, bands like metallica, creed, disturbed, papa roach,Breaking Benjamins.. so what would be best to buy for me ?

2 x 10"s or 2 x 12"s or 1 x15" cause Im limited on space ?? I'll be using a sundown SAZ-1500D to power them. looking for opinions

you coud go with 2 12'' DD 2500 what your price range, what size box u gonna do, and are you going sealed or ported?

 

I wanna go sealed, and $400 or $500 max shipped. DD is pretty expensive right? I know it's good but. can't afford more then that right now.

 

it canbe expensive... but they like ported.. hmm have looked at what there is in local shops????

 

ya, alpine and I don't want it, had two 12" type R's before did'nt like it,and my buddy has two right now in his car and I'm still not impressed.! the other would be Clarion signature series which are on special right now two for one,but would still be like over $500. but the thing is I never heard them and can't find anyone that did.! couldn't find them on youtube either so. I'd like something that's proven

 

I would prob go with MTX over the clarion, I not big on clarion.. JBL seems to make some decent gear aswell. You could also talk with Trevor from poundthatsound.com about ssa audio subs! he a vendor here. There are many options to go with. Fi makes a decent sub, but I unsure of the prices

somone on the forum is having a sale under the FOR SALE forum page. i believe he is charging $165 for a 12". hell of a good deal if you ask me.

 

ok so I guess two 12's are the way to go if you listen to rock? .. I'm not gonna get subs for another few weeks at least but, I wanted to have ppl's opinion on the size of the sub I should look into for rock music.
