He is/was the lead singer of the band Danzig. In the 90s they were a hard blues band but they turned to death/speed metal in their 5th album and have been that way ever since. Think of the early work as a hard Jim Morrison with more edge. The band really became garbage after Danzig4 and will never top Danzig2:Lucifuge. However Glen Danzig is a complete idiot as he would barely talk to anyone at a show we went to but the guitarist John Christ was a great guy and drank a few with us.
