When I want to be sure, i set up my mids, tweets and everything else as much as possible. I then build a larger than required box, and use 6" pvc tube as my port. With the aid of winisd I then adjust volume adding blocks to reduce it, and adjust the tuning by adjusting the length of the pipe...until I get exactly the sound I want...then I build the enclosure for the car...and start micro tuning!
