I could use some advice my front left side cuts in and out and quits at higher volume all together. Im currently running clarion sss601 with mid, high and crossovers powered buy and older 4 channel fosgate amp. Ive checked the wiring and it seems ok. If you have any suggestions plz reply

 

Invert the left and right speakers at the amp output (not the RCA) if your problem persist on the left side then you might have a problem with the crossover or wiring from the amp to the crossover. If the problem move to the right speakers then it could be the amp, the rca or the HU. Switch back the speakers and try with an ipod connected directly at the amp input(make sure the gain is lowered on the amp to prevent damage). Let us know the results
