Help - Feeding wire from cab to door thru factory wireloom
Im trying to put larger guage wire for speakers in my dakota and they are getting stuck some where. The place they are binding is in the cab b4 the factory wire loom going to the door. Is there any method to make this process easier(wd40 or grease)? Im using a smaller wire from previous install and taped the two end to end, but its still no go. Any help would be great.
in my dogde it was 4hr for 1st door to get 12g wire into there and 1hr 2nd
open the door up pop out the ruber slide a wire into the ruber pull the small wire with the bigger wire in then redo the ruber .if your door is open edead the door

The rubber boot in the cab has a plastic wire harness close to it. I figured out that the harness is for the doors (speakers, doors and windows junk) So with actual light instead of a flash light last nite, i was able to better probing and got the wires thru with out hacking anything. Took me a hour to do both sides today.
