Need a little something in my truck

So my last car had a nice little system in it. I now have a Nissan Murano and was wondering what I can add to make the music a litte louder. Any thoughts or idea's? Also where should I get it installed?

Given your vehicle and your level of car audio knowledge, my advice is to go to a good shop and have them set you up. Most of these new vehicles have very integrated systems that require expert knowledge to bypass or add to them. Not sure where you are located, but Selective Sound in Mississauga seems to have a good rep(vendor on right side of the page), and are capable of excellent work. Other shops that I've used include; Ultra auto sound(dundas st., mississauga), Auto sound design (yonge and steeles), 12 volt auto (steeles ave. and weston rd).

This vehicle in particular you cannot replace the factory headunit due to the awd computer being a part of the radio. So you are going to need a good interface adaptor. This allows you to use the factory radio with a aftermarket audio package. Then we can choose an amp or amps (these are a must) and then replacement speakers. You need to come up with a budget for your upgrade and what the overall goals are. Better sound, louder, lots of bass or a overall good sounding system. What space would you be willing to give up for a sub box in the rear for example? This is why msn is so good to work with, it allows us to talk far quicker.

thxs I'll PM you.

Appreciate all the advice though. Had no idea the Murano was going to be so complicated.
I'll check out selective sound as well.
