Well, the cooling fan on our Soundstream monitor has decided its gonna drag during cold mornings....vvvrrrrr...vrrrrrr, The only other head unit we have is, well, not enough.. Maybe some oil will fix it but

So if we're gonna replace the monitor at some point, theres a couple things we'd like,
- double DIN with monitor
- 3 - min 4v preouts
- time alignment

Those are the only "options" I would like. I guess an onboard EQ would be cool if it didn't add too much to the price.
Brand doesn't matter much at all.
Any recommendations?

 

Unfortunately your going to find that double din HU's are lacking in "options". You might have better luck using a single din "pop out".

 

Really? That would explain why its seemed so tough to find something suitable..
Seems like to get what i'd prefer , it's gonna be $600+ ...That's way more than I ever spent on a HU !

Any ideas for a good flip out single DIN DS?
